What Can I Do ?

My Story
This is Yijie Ding, a UI/UX designer studying at California College of the Arts (CCA). My passion lies in interactive design, gaming, and user experience. Whether working on UX projects, 3D modeling, or analyzing game UI, I find inspiration in creating meaningful interactions that seamlessly blend form and function.
I thrive on completing big projects, where my values of Professionalism, Balance, and Order guide my approach. At the same time, I embrace Joy and Achievement, ensuring that my work remains both fulfilling and impactful. Design, to me, is about more than aesthetics—it’s about crafting seamless experiences that enhance user engagement and accessibility.
My journey into UX design is deeply influenced by my love for gaming and technology. I admire the UI of titles like Grand Theft Auto V, Battlefield, Titanfall, Apex Legends, and Final Fantasy XIV, where thoughtful interaction design elevates immersion. I often reflect on how game UX principles can inform broader applications, bridging entertainment and functionality in innovative ways.
Beyond my academic work, I engage in personal projects that explore the intersection of UX and 3D modeling, blending visual storytelling with user-centric interaction. I enjoy collaborating in teams, iterating on multiple solutions, and tackling complex challenges that require creative problem-solving.
With a focus on professionalism and a drive for excellence, I aspire to contribute to the future of UI/UX in gaming and interactive 3D experiences. I am always eager to learn, adapt, and push the boundaries of design to create meaningful, impactful experiences for users.
