This software lets older car owners control key phone functions with gestures, solving the challenge of finding buttons while driving. It improves accuracy, safety, and convenience.

How It Works?

It will automatically takes over the user's phone while driving and detects hand gestures. We use large icons so users can operate it without looking at the screen, reducing distractions while driving.

Icon Design

My initial idea was to use generic gestures for key functions, like a clenched fist for play/pause and an open hand for pause. However, user testing revealed redundancy, causing confusion. Similarly, the previous and next gestures were difficult for some users, making them less likely to use them. Based on this feedback, I refined the gestures for better clarity and ease of use.

This is my revised design, I made it more intuitive, which makes it very convenient for users to use, and in my second round of user-testing, it was widely praised because the gestures are very easy to learn and not difficult to make. No more "confusing gestures" or "difficult gestures.”
